Darren Purves is a UK based lighting designer, director and programmer with over 10 years of experience working in music, theatre, TV and large scale events.

He has a vast experience of designing shows from 3D visualisation to help imagine and implement a concept, through to the final delivery of the design including the programming and operation of lighting and media servers.

​

He also works as a programmer and lighting director for other show designers, helping to bring their concept through to fruition and then maintain the aesthetic of the initial concept through the touring cycle. His friendly approach and eye for detail has helped to develop many long standing relationships.
